About Dr. Harry

Dr. Harry Stefanakis holds a doctorate degree in psychology and is registered with College of Psychologists of BC (#1489). He is an experienced counselor and educator who communicates effectively with both humour and clarity. In addition to psychological assessment and treatment services, Harry provides clinical supervision and training to organizations and professionals and Seminars to corporations and agencies for personal and professional growth

Harry sees people from a wholistic perspective and attends to the integration of individuals’ emotional, mental, physical, spiritual and social dimensions of life. In addition to his private practice, Harry has worked within social services, correctional, educational and occupational rehabilitation settings. He has presented at numerous national and international conferences as well as providing training, workshops and therapeutic interventions on addictions; anger, conflict, stress and pain management issues; stopping violence and abuse; and facilitating the change process. He has been a visiting lecturer for the United Nations Asia and Far East Institute (UNAFEI)

He has produced three audio CDs: Guided Presence & Letting Go: Guided Exercises for Relaxation and Pain Relief, and Practices for Freedom. (see store for purchase)
